Christina Bitong, CPA
Tax Manager
Christina joined Johanson and Yau in 2005. She specializes in tax compliance and planning services for corporations, individuals and partnerships. Christina also has experience in taxation of U.S. expatriates and foreign nationals. Within the firm, she is responsible for the monitoring of workflow through the tax department and for the supervision and mentoring of professional staff.
Prior to joining Johanson & Yau, Christina worked for a “Big 4” international accounting firm. She joined Johanson & Yau to provide a more personal level of service to small and medium-sized businesses and high net worth individuals.
Christina is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants & California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is active in the non-profit organization Sunday Friends, which provides services to low income families in Santa Clara County.
Christina grew up in the Philippines and graduated from the University of the Philippines in 1997. She is currently working towards her master’s degree in taxation at San Jose State University.
